How to Apply for the ASTD-TCC 2011 Board of Directors

Board positions are open to all members of ASTD-TCC. Candidates will be interviewed by members of a Nomination Committee, the committee will recommend candidates to the current board of directors, and are then approved by the chapter membership.

The application process will be a valuable experience to all who apply whether or not they are selected for the 2011 board.

To apply, candidates need to write a letter of intent, sent to timg@astd-tcc.org, along with a resume, stating:

  • Desired position
  • How the candidate interprets the duties of the position
  • The candidate’s qualifications
  • History with the chapter
  • What they see their contribution to the chapter will be as a board member

Deadline for submitting letters of intent and resumes is Sunday July 11, 2010. At that time I will forward all received applications to the appropriate interview lead on the Nomination Committee. That lead will set up interviews with the candidates and members of the committee.
